Pet Care for Essential Workers

MDCS are offering pet-sitting to those key workers who need to ease the burden of looking after their pets. It’s a chance to enable a few more breaths to be taken at home life and encourages a more focused work life. Having a lot of things on your chest can result to a lack of productivity. The higher the stress levels are, the lower levels of productivity will be. In order to become more productive, it’s quintessential to be balanced and happy. We are providing this service to those who need a helping hand with their pets which may include anything from feeding them to taking them for a walk.

MD COVIDsitters offers pet care and pet sitting wherever it’s convenient. Our volunteers can pet-sit in your home, or from their own homes. Volunteers take pets for walks, feed them, and make sure they aren’t lonely during the day! Our volunteers will do everything they can to keep your pets entertained. Volunteers will take your dogs to a dog park if you have one in your local area so will also take your pets and hang out outdoors with them.

We have an immaculate spectrum of volunteers who can ease your home life by taking care of your pets. Lucie Cunningham is a graduate from Colby College with a BA in psychology and environmental science. She proudly has 8 years experience of extensive pet-sitting. She has been assisting essential workers with childcare and pet-sitting at MDCS, so is a perfect match to nurture your pets. Lucie is just one of our many volunteers who can take one more burden off your shoulders and make a distraction your enthusiastic pets!
